Harry Landy is one for great visions; and he’s also one for making them a reality. Congress Hill Farm, Landy’s harness racing headquarters shared its home with a new concept today- Polo. Harry has been meticulously grooming the polo field, located on the infield of his harness training track, for almost a year.
The late afternoon kicked off with a lineup of tailgaters eager to watch the polo action. The exhibition included a full polo game with both local riders and those from Saratoga, NY and included Landy himself.
Amy and Stacy Butewicz attended the event and had a wonderful time both watching polo and getting to meet new horse enthusiasts and catch up with good friends! They are excited for the opportunity of polo to be accessible to the public.
Harry plans to have a full polo schedule in place for September 2022.
